1. Processing and production of thermosetting and thermoplastic composites.
2. Production of carbon nanotube (CNT) reinforced carbon fibre composites.
3. Mechanical, electrical and thermal characterisation of fibre reinforced composite such as fracture toughness, compression, shear, visco-elasticity, conductivity etc.
4. Fractography via optical and scanning electron microscopy.
5 .Manufacturing and testing of bio-composite based from natural fibre for structural application.

1. Development of wind turbine blades utilising bio-composites.
2. Development of crash resistance car bumpers based on bio-composites and hybrids.
3. Constituent measurements and mechanical properties of natural fibre reinforced composites.
4. Development of robust production methods for high quality natural and glass fibre reinforced hybrid composites.
