Exploring STEM with Arduino

A two-day STEM exploration program, Exploring STEM with Arduino, was successfully conducted at SMKA (P) Almashoor, engaging 80 Form Two and 80 Form Three students on 7-8 January 2025. The program aimed to introduce students to the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and the practical applications of Arduino in solving real-world challenges.

Each session, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, began with an engaging introduction to STEM concepts, career prospects, and how Arduino can be utilized in innovative ways. The highlight of the program was a hands-on session where students learned to use Arduino boards to create an SOS signaling system using Morse code.

The interactive approach not only sparked curiosity but also helped students build foundational circuit building and teamwork skills. Many participants expressed excitement about exploring more technology-based projects in the future.

The program successfully inspired a new generation of tech-savvy innovators, leaving a positive impact on their perspective towards STEM education and its endless possibilities.
