Aerospace Business Unit Wins Top Performer Award for Third Consecutive Year

The School of Aerospace Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia is proud to announce that the Aerospace Business Unit has once again been honored with the Top Performer Award in the Training Category, marking their third consecutive win.

The prestigious award ceremony took place on the evening of March 13, 2025, at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, Penang, and was graced by distinguished guests, including our Vice-Chancellor, PROF. DATO' SERI IR. DR. ABDUL RAHMAN MOHAMED, FASc, and USAINS Group Managing Director, EN. FARID WAJIDI MAT YUSOFF. The event was attended by the entire USAINS Board of Directors and Penang state dignitaries, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.

The award was received by Associate Professor Dr. Elmi Bin Abu Bakar, Dean of the School of Aerospace Engineering and Director of Aerospace Business Unit-A.B.U., in recognition of the team’s exceptional contributions to training excellence. Dr. Mohammad Nishat Akhtar and Pn. Azura Jaapar represented the Aerospace Business Unit alongside Dr. Elmi, showcasing the collective dedication and hard work of the team.
