School of Aerospace Engineering Hosts Workshop on Asset Procurement and Management

NIBONG TEBAL, 13 MARCH 2025 – The School of Aerospace Engineering successfully organized a workshop on the Comprehensive Guide to Asset Procurement and Management at the seminar room of the School of Aerospace Engineering. The workshop was attended by 46 participants, including academic, management, and technical staff from the school.

The objective of this workshop was to provide a clear understanding of asset procurement procedures. The program began with a welcome speech by the Head of Asset Management, followed by two briefing sessions conducted by representatives from the Treasury Department.

Mr. Ismail and Mrs. Noor Hazirah covered key topics, including asset receipt, registration, management, and transfers. The sessions also addressed asset purchases through grants, VOT breakdowns, post-grant asset transfers, and PTJ-controlled assets. Additionally, the workshop outlined asset disposal procedures, including the SOP for lost assets and the proper handover process to PTJ.

The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to seek further clarification, followed by a closing speech and a token of appreciation presented by the Dean.
