Research Background

Ir. Dr. Mohammad Hafifi Hafiz bin Ishaik is a researcher and senior lecturer attached to the School of Aerospace Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia since 2020. He holds a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science, and a PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2016. His research areas and interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), Advanced Packaging & Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and Thermofluids. Currently, he has several International Journals and International Conferences under his banner. He has been actively involved as a lead researcher and co-researcher in USM’s and national research grant projects.

  • Effects of die aspect ratio on mold flow and structural behaviour in wafer-level encapsulation process
  • Effect on dimples on the performance of savonius turbines by using computational fluid dynamics
  • Aerodynamic performance improvement of Savonius wind turbine through a passive flow control
  • Effects of Diameter on Copper Pillar with Solder Cap Interconnections During Reflow Soldering Process
