Research Background

Dr. Mohammad Nishat Akhtar received his B.E in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), India, in 2010. He completed his M.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2013, followed by a Ph.D. in Parallel Image Processing from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2018. Currently, he is a Lecturer at the School of Aerospace Engineering, USM, acting as a lead and co-researcher on institutional grant projects. Beyond academic tasks, Dr. Nishat serves as the Liaison Officer for the School of Aerospace Business Unit, coordinating industrial technical trainings for multinational companies and contributing as a lead trainer for professional certification programs.

  • Evaluating rates of Crack Propagation in WMA using computer vision frameworks
