Hangar

LAB DESCRIPTION

  • The school of aerospace engineering hangar is a building that is focusing on aviation sector.
  • Current project - assembly of ch750 aircraft kit that occupies most of the facilities in the hangar.
  • On the hangar bay – actual aircraft and a helicopter are ready for use in teachings and for public visit.
  • The hangar is managed by a lecturer that supervises the whole activities and is assisted by three technical staffs including a vocational training officer for the maintenance and any activities related to the hangar.
  • A seminar room that is located on the first floor gives a great view of the surrounding. The hangar is located adjacent to a man-made lake with some palm oil trees surroundings that give a wonderful breath taking a view.
  • A 2 tonnes ceiling-mounted crane is also available at the hangar.
