Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Aerospace Engineering)

The Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering with Honours at USM is a four-year, full-time programme designed to meet the rigorous standards of the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). Built on insights from key industry stakeholders, the curriculum ensures a progressive and balanced learning curve. Students build a strong foundation in core engineering principles during their first two years, followed by an in-depth focus on specialized aerospace disciplines, tailored elective courses and hands-on professional projects in their final years. Beyond technical expertise, our teaching and learning approach is structured to nurture well-rounded global citizens. Students develop essential non-technical competencies including communication, engineering management, finance, ethics and environmental sustainability ensuring they are adaptable and prepared to tackle complex future challenges in the global aerospace sector. Upon graduation, students possess the comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to seamlessly register as Graduate Engineers with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). This provides a strong officially recognized foundation for our alumni to advance their careers and achieve their full Professional Engineer status.
